With a simple sentence and without explaining much, his official coming out celebrated last year. “The most beautiful thing in life is when you have the right partner at your side with whom you can share everything,” wrote the former Formula 1 driver on Instagram. Schumacher received many positive feedback for his posting.
Between 1997 and 2007, the Hürther native started at 180 Grand Prix races in Formula 1-six times, he landed at the top of the podium. He always stayed in the shade of his much more successful brother Michael, who has become Formula 1 world champion seven times. From October 2001 to February 2015 he was married to Cora Schumacher, the couple received the couple with their son David Schumacher, who was born in 2001 and how his father became a racing driver. Now he is celebrating his 50th birthday.
