Boris Becker announced the pregnancy of his third wife Lilian with a video. In a podcast he now gave details – also on the expected date of birth.
Boris Becker’s wife Lilian is four months pregnant. “It will be a Christmas present or in mid -December,” said the former tennis star in the “Becker Petkovic” podcast with a view to the possible date of birth. “My wife is doing excellently,” added the 57-year-old in conversation with the former tennis player Andrea Petkovic, who congratulated. “Boris, you become dad – congratulations from me to you and your magical wife Lilian!” Said Petkovic.
Becker said: “Of course, it was a challenge to keep it secret in the past few months, because unfortunately I am – or fortunately – I’m a public person. I am being pursued at every turn. But you have to wait and see for the first three months so that everything stays healthy and the woman is doing well.”
Becker published a video of his wife Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro on Sunday with visibly arched stomach. “A tiny miracle is on the way … The best is Yet to come,” it said (German: A little miracle is on the way … The best is still coming). At the request of the German Press Agency, Becker’s law firm also confirmed that the 34-year-old was expecting a child.
Becker married in the third marriage to Lilian
Becker, who comes from Leimen near Heidelberg, is married to Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro in the third marriage. In Portofino on Italy’s Mediterranean coast, the two celebrated their wedding last year. For Lilian it will be the first child, the fifth child for Becker.
With his first wife Barbara Becker (58), the triple Wimbledon winner has the sons Noah and Elias, with Angela Ermakova (57) the daughter Anna. The 25-year-old is a model, musician and “Let’s Dance” winner. In 2010 Becker and his second wife Lilly Becker (49) received his third son Amadeus.
Becker’s wife Lilian also came from the sports world. Grand Slam winner Monica Seles and ex-boxing champion Regina Halmich congratulated the upcoming birth.
