The jury took over in the trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs. The twelve jury – eight men and four women – now have to decide on the guilt or innocence of the former rap superstar at the New York court. They have as much time for their consultations as they need – so it could take a few hours, but also for many days.
The 55 -year -old COMBS is accused of sex trade, organized crime and other crimes. The rapper denies all accusations and did not guilty. In the event of a conviction, he threatens a lifelong prison sentence.
For around six weeks, more than 30 witnesses were interviewed in the process. In her final plea, the indictment of Combs had accused the management of a “criminal company” as well as kidnapping, arson, bribe, forced labor and sex trade. The defense, on the other hand, had admitted in her final plea that the former rap superstar committed domestic violence – but denied any defendant crime.
