A few days after the launch of The return, Santiago Motorized announced the official presentation of the album: it will be September 4 at the Gran Rex Theaterone of the most emblematic scenarios in the city of Buenos Aires.
The return is an intimate and powerful work, where the songs flow through some of Santiago’s deepest passions: cinema, friendship, humor, mystery and love. As the path of an antihero that is built in defeat, its unbeatable melodies can become salvation.
The album was recorded in two stages: a first in February 2021 in Romaphonic (Buenos Aires), and a second in July 2024 in Sonic Ranch, one of the most recognized studies in the United States, located in Texas.

How the return arose, the first solo album of Santiago Motorized
“Some of El Returo’s songs have their origin more than a decade ago, when Santiago began to experiment with a more pop and romantic sound world, in parallel to the evolution of El Mató. These compositions circulated almost secretly between friends by MSN, and later ended up leaking themselves on the Internet and becoming their own life between fans. Today, those same songs reborn with renewed arrangements and a full band.”
The solo road took public form with the soundtrack of death does not exist and love either, directed by Fernando Salem, which earned him the Silver Condor Award for best original music in 2020.
