For almost 5 million euros, the villa of the deceased fashion tsar changed the owner. Just a little more than the estimation value. However, overbidding is still possible.
The former villa of the fashion tsarist Karl Lagerfeld, who died in 2019 in Louveciennes in French, was auctioned for 4.685 million euros – only 50,000 euros above the estimation price, as the emergency chamber announced. The purchase is not yet final, because overbidden is still possible for ten days.
The property, which is about 20 kilometers west of Paris, has around 600 square meters of living space, a spacious park with a pool, a tennis court and several outbuildings. The estimated value was 4.635 million euros.
Lagerfeld had acquired the former Jagdschlösschen in 2014 and had it renovated with great detail in four years. He is said to have spent only one night there.
In 2024, Lagerfeld’s Parisian apartment came under the hammer: In just 19 minutes, the 260 square meter apartment, which was originally valued at 5.3 million euros, changed the owner.
