On the second day of the Wimbledon Championships, actress Cate Blanchett, Russell Crowe and other celebrities were honored.
Game, sentence and celebrity: On day two in Wimbledon, the ranks on the Center Court filled again with numerous stars. The 56-year-old Oscar winner Cate Blanchett visited the prestigious tennis tournament with her mother June on Tuesday, for example. The “Gladiator” star Russell Crowe (61) also followed this with his partner Britney Theriot – if he could turn away from the eyes of his loved ones.
In the so -called Royal Box, only invited guests such as members of the royal family or celebrities take a seat. The exclusive grandstand has been used for the entertainment of friends and guests of Wimbledon since 1922 and has 74 places. On Tuesday, the coveted seats were occupied by Hollywood, among other things.
Even more Hollywood in Wimbledon
The actress Rebel Wilson (45) came with her wife Ramona Agruma to the second Wimbledon day and posted her visit. She described the whole thing as a “epic day in the Royal Box”. Raff Law, the son of actor Jude Law (52), gave up with his girlfriend Rosa Ramirez in the celebrity ranks and donated fresh air with a mini fan in today’s heat. The “Der Grüffelo” creator, writer Julia Donaldson (76), joined the stands with her daughter-in-law Christine.
Day one started with a comeback
At the start of this year’s Wimbledon Championships on Monday, Princess Beatrice (36) was the first British royal to honor the sporting event. The daughter of King Charles’ (76) brother Prince Andrew (65) came accompanied by her mother Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson (65). For Fergie, according to British reports, it should be the first visit to Wimbledon after around 24 years. Sarah Ferguson once liked to visit the tennis spectacle together with the late Princess Diana (1961-1997).
