Princess Anne and Queen Camilla convinced at a garden party in Scotland in the perfect blue partner look.
Coordinated in style, Princess Anne (74) and Queen Camilla (77) presented themselves at the traditional garden party in the Palace of Holyroodhouse. During the Royal Week in Scotland, the Royals received over 8,000 guests in the official Scottish residence of the king in Edinburgh.
Princess Anne appeared in a royal blue bouclè jacket with golden buttons over a blue and white floral dress. To do this, she combined a suitable hat with tulle and springs details and a pearl chain.
Her sister -in -law Queen Camilla chose a completely blue outfit consisting of a dress and a coat from Fiona Clare and a hat by Philip Treacy. Her majesty completed her look with a four-stage pearl chain and the Diamond Thistle Brooch, who once belonged to Queen Mary (1867-1953) and was later inherited from her granddaughter Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022).

A special highlight of the event was the presence of the first female members of the Royal Company of Archers, the king’s ceremonial bodyguard in Scotland. Lady Katherine Douglas (35) was one of the first women who were included in this traditional unit.
Lady Katherine later told King Charles (76): “The king asked me if I had made archery before and I said no. He said it was high time that women were allowed and he was very happy about it.”

This tradition goes back to the reign of King George V (1865-1936) and Queen Mary and forms an important part of the Royal Week in Scotland. Princess Anne will stay in Scotland for the next two days and make appointments in Argyll and Bute as well as in Ayrshire and Arran.
The king and the queen are located as part of the Royal Week in Scotland, whereby the monarch has already taken part in the traditional key ceremony and received the keys to the city of Edinburgh.
