In the trial of Alfons Schuhbeck, the insolvency administrator has the floor – and gives an insight into an abyss.
According to the insolvency administrator Max Liebig, the companies of Alfons Schuhbeck left a huge debt mountain. According to the current status, creditors demand a total of around 27 million euros, as Liebig said before the Munich I district court. However, the sum can still change in the course of the procedure.
Creditors demand millions of Alfons Schuhbeck – they will probably only get a fraction
He assumes that only a fraction of the required amount could be repaid, said Liebig, and spoke of a quota in the low double -digit range. At the opening of the bankruptcy proceedings in 2021, he found no significant bookkeeping for the companies. For example, there were no annual financial statements for years. Mostly companies have been insolvent since 2015.
The insolvency proceedings should probably be completed at the end of the year, he said. Three companies – Schuhbeck spices, the South Tyrolean Stuben and the party service – were said to be sold, the rest were not. And there is no noteworthy bankruptcy estate for this.
