Rapper Kanye West has been scandal for years. Most recently, he published a song in which he glorified dictator Adolf Hitler. That now has consequences.
Because of his strongly criticized “Heil Hitler” songs, US rapper Kanye West has now also lost his visa for Australia, the country from which his partner Bianca Censori comes. “He no longer has a valid visa for Australia,” said Interior Minister Tony Burke on Wednesday. This decision was made after the publication of “Heil Hitler”.
West’s wife Bianca Censori is a Australian. The 48-year-old has been coming to Australia for family visits for some time, Burke told ABC’s television station. “He has made many insulting comments before,” said the minister. “But my officials have now looked at the matter again after publishing ‘Heil Hitler’: and he no longer has a valid visa for Australia.”
Kanye West cited speech by Adolf Hitler
The rapper, which has now been called Ye, released “Heil Hitler” on the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War on May 8. In the associated video, animal skins chanting and masked black men the song title, while West complains that they are allegedly misunderstood and addressed the custody dispute with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. The song ends with an extract from a Hitler speech.
West had repeatedly noticed his erratic behavior in recent years. Among other things, he repeatedly provided controversy with anti -Semitic and Hitler. The German sporting goods manufacturer Adidas and other companies then ended the cooperation with the rapper.
