What is Wicked about
Starring the winner of Emmy, Grammy and Tony Cynthia Erivo (Harriet, the purple color in Broadway) like Elphaba, and the global and winning superstar of Grammy Ariana Grande As Glinda, Wicked tells the story never told by the Witches of Oz: two young people who know each other at the University of Shiz and forge an unexpected but deep friendship. After an encounter with the Oz wizard, their relationship will be tested and their lives will take very different paths.

The cast also includes the Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh as Madame morrible; Emmy nominee Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton, Fellow Travelers) as Fijero; Tony nominee Ethan Slater (SpongeBob on Broadway, Fosse/Verdon) as Boq; Marissa Bode like Nestarose; and the iconic Jeff Goldblum Like Oz’s wizard. Produced by Marc Platt (La Land, La Sernita) and David Stone, who also produced the original play, Wicked gathers a first -class creative team, including scriptwriters Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox, and the legendary composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz. Based on Gregory Maguire’s novel, this adaptation is a celebration of friendship, identity and power to forge your own destiny.
