Hollywood mime Michael Madsen died at the age of only 67. Friends, family and fellow actors condolize with moving words.
After the death of “Kill Bill” and “Reservoir Dogs” star Michael Madsen (1957-2025) on July 3., colleagues, companions and his younger sister Virginia Madsen (63) react shocked. On Instagram, the actress, who played in the success film “Sideways”: “My brother Michael left the stage. He was thunder and velvet. She also writes: “We do not mourn for a public figure. We do not mourn a myth – but about meat and blood and a wild heart that stormed loudly, brilliantly and half in flames.” Madsen shares a black and white photo of the siblings.
Numerous Tarantino stars speak up
Hollywood star Harvey Keitel (86), who stood in front of the camera with Madsen in Quentin Tarantinos (62) cult classic “Reservoir Dogs”, has commented on the tragic death. “We lost another big American poet,” said the 86-year-old. “Live well, my dear friend.”
Actress Vivica A. Fox (60), which was seen together with Madsen in Tarantino’s “Kill Bill – Volume 1 and 2”, also said. She described the deceased as a “talented man with an incredible canvas presence”.
Another former co-star Madsens, “The White Lotus” mime Walton Goggins (53), who appeared with the deceased in Tarantino’s snow-nesting “The Hateful”,: “Michael Madsen. This man. This poet. This crook. Love yourself, a hater forever. “
