In front of the White House there will soon be a fight with hard bandages. US President Donald Trump plans a cage fight.
Donald Trump (79) is an avowed fan of mixed martial arts fights and maintains a close friendship with UFC President Dana White (55). For the 250th anniversary of the United States in the coming year, the US President now wants to realize a special plan: a martial arts event on the site of the White House.
“We have a lot of space there”
Under the motto “America 250”, preparations for the big anniversary on July 4, 2026 are already underway. According to the US media, Donald Trump announced a number of special events-including a UFC fight, “I even think we will have a UFC Fight”. “With the great Dana White – imagine that: a fight on the site of the White House. We have a lot of space there.”
Thousands of spectators should be able to experience the spectacular cage struggle in 2026 live in front of the White House. It is still unclear where exactly the event should take place on the premises – but Trump wants nothing less than a real title fight, “a full fight” in front of 20,000 to 25,000 fans. A UFC spokesman already confirmed the plans to the industry magazine. In a nutshell, it is said that Dana White wants to announce further details.

Trump has been spotted more at UFC events in the past few months. At the beginning of June, Trump then celebrated the crowd alone at a UFC event in Newark after a big noise with musk.
