Kate ended her therapy last late summer, but the time afterwards also brings challenges as she indicated.

The state visit is the first of a French head of state since President Nicolas Sarkozy was a guest at Elizabeth II in 2008. He is considered a blueprint for the planned visit to US President Donald Trump, who is expected to take place in September.

For Charles, who also made a cancer in the shortly before Kate last year, it is a busy time. He had noticed several appointments in Scotland this week. Charles continues to be treated on an outpatient basis.
