Matthias Schweighöfer and his partner for crisis falls are well prepared: Ruby O. Fee gave way to special abilities as a child on a lonely island.
Matthias Schweighöfer says that thanks to the self-catering skills of his partner Ruby O. Fee “he can survive every crisis. Even if there is nothing in the fridge,” said the actor in the “Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung” in a joint interview with his girlfriend. Ruby O. Fee said: “With my mother I really lived on a lonely island, twice for half a year each.” Her mother and she had “more or less cared for themselves in a slightly larger group,” said the 29-year-old.
The group had expanded a cave, built a clay pizza oven and a drinking water well, said Fee. “I fished small fish and fried on hot stones.” Schweighöfer, 44, added that his partner had a “built-in survival fashion”. She had survived a time in the jungle, in the desert and on lonely islands.
Gas, gasoline, toilet paper – Matthias Schweighöfer has everything at home
The couple had been asked how long they would both get lost in their house. “We are Prepper,” replied Schweighöfer. “We could survive well for the next 25 years. Everything is there: gas, petrol, especially we hurt toilet paper. We have the most.”
In the new thriller “Brick” Schweighöfer and Fee play a couple who are walled in by a mysterious power in his apartment. The film can be seen at Netflix from July 10th.
