Duchess Meghan shows her 4th July celebration on Instagram, wearing an outfit that is reminiscent of her royal time.

Duchess Meghan (43) gave her followers on Instagram an intimate insight into this year’s celebration on American Independence Day. The Duchess of Sussex shared, which she shows when it shows an artistic arrangement of a festive charcuterie plate.

In the short clip, Meghan carefully arranges various fruits, breads and cheeses to imitate the colors of the American flag. Watermelon, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries and star -shaped cheese fill the board, which was garnished with delicate white flowers.

“Happy 4th of July!” Meghan writes about her post and invites her followers to participate in the family celebration. Apparently the Duchess and Prince Harry (40) create new traditions in California, where they live with their two children Prince Archie (6) and Princess Lilibet (4).

Attentive Royal observers should not have escaped Meghan’s outfit for the occasion. She wore a familiar blue and white striped top, which was very similar that she had worn at Wimbledon in July 2018. At that time she visited the tennis championships in London alongside her sister -in -law, Princess Kate (43).

Significant holiday for the Sussex family

Since the restart of her Instagram page in early 2025, Meghan has often given insights into the family life of the Sussexes in Montecito, including her holiday traditions. In February she shared videos by Archie and Lili, who celebrated Valentine’s Day with red bagels and heart -shaped strawberries. The family also had a green-thematic breakfast to St. Patrick’s Day in March and honored Prince Harry with a banner last month on Father’s Day.

Despite Prince Harry’s British origin, independence day is of particular importance for the couple. Harry revealed in his “spare” memoir published in 2023 that the couple had their second date on July 4, 2016. In the book, Prince Harry remembered that his today’s woman also wore a blue summer dress with white pinstripes that day.

Life in California

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided in 2020 to step down from their royal duties and finally settled in Meghan’s home state of California. In an interview with “Good Morning America” in February 2024 during the Invictus Games in Canada, Prince Harry was asked if he was thinking about American citizenship.

In the conversation, he made it clear: “American citizenship is a thought that went through my head, but certainly nothing that has a high priority for me.” When asked whether he enjoys life in the USA, the Duke of Sussex replied: “It is fantastic. I love every single day.”
