Job message shortly before the performance: Kelly Clarkson canceled the Las Vegas start on July 4th. She has to protect herself and her voice.
Kelly Clarkson (43) canceled the opening of her concert series in Las Vegas, Nevada, to protect her voice. Actually, it should appear in the Colosseum in Caesers Palace from July 4th.
US singer wants to take the time to rest
In the early Friday she had just promoted the start: “Tonight !!” But a few hours later she posted a longer statement with the bad news.
“We worked around the clock to make the studio sessions a particularly intimate and extraordinary experience with and for my incredible fans,” wrote the singer and moderator, who shared on Friday, July 4, just a few hours before the start of the show. “I am infinitely grateful that you are always there for me, and I am on the ground that I have to postpone the opening today and tomorrow evening in Caesars.”
“The preparations and rehearsals have added strongly to my voice. I want the shows to be perfect for all of you and have to protect myself from serious damage,” continued Clarkson. “That’s why I take the time this weekend and the next week to rest so that we can offer you all what you deserve.”
18 concerts until November
As announced in February, “Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions – The Las Vegas Residency” should start on July 4th in the Colosseum in Caesars Palace and include 18 performances by November 15.
“I’m really happy to be back in Vegas!” Said the singer at the time. “This time we bring the studio to the stage with studio sessions! We’ll see you there!”
