The Duchess of Sussex likes to bake and cook. A sweeping that comes on the table at the Sussexes is closely connected to the love story between Meghan and Prince Harry.
She can’t let it: Duchess Meghan (43) once again chatted out of her private life and revealed a sweet tradition that she has celebrated with her husband Harry (40) for years.
On American Independence Day, the Sussexes, as the couple in Great Britain is also called, there are cupcakes – small cakes with butter cream on top.
Meghan reveals that she surprised her loved one on the second date on July 4, 2016. “Now, all the years later, our children also take part in the tradition,” she writes on Instagram and divides photos of the current cupcakes, a selfies with Harry from Date and Küchlein with which tradition began.
Relationship with Royals is considered broken
Meghan now sells jam and other luxury food under the “AS Ever” brand and is the star of a cooking and back show on Netflix. Perhaps that is why the pictures of the recent cupcakes with berry and cream decor in the colors of the US flag look much more appetizing than the specimen that Harry once brought.
In May 2018, the couple married Windsor Castle with a large pomp and was considered the dream couple of the British Royals at the time. But soon the disillusionment came: Harry and Meghan started in 2020 from the British royal family. Together with the two children, Prince Archie (6) and Princess Lilibet (3), they live in the US state of California. The relationship with the other royals, especially Harry’s older brother Prince William (43), is considered broken.
