For Cage, the scenes from the Mystery thriller are among his “favorite scenes” and McMahon among his “favorite people”. He further explained: “He was a friendly and intelligent man. My love applies to his family.”
Ioan Gruffudd dedicates him Instagram post
Other celebrities spoke up by social media. The former “Fantastic Four” colleague Ioan Gruffudd (51) complained that it was “sad news”. He wrote about their collaboration in “Fantastic Four” and “Fantastic Four” and “Rise of the Silver Surfer”: “Although we were the opponents of the other, there was always a relaxed atmosphere in our cooperation and there was a lot of laughter. Every encounter with him was a joy.”
He added to her film roles: “It was an honor for me to be Dr. Richards to his Dr. Doom.” He also expressed his sympathy McMahon’s family. “Beautiful words that come from the heart. God be with you, Julian,” added Gruffudd’s wife Bianca (32).
“Charmed” stars pay tribute to him
Some of his acting colleagues from the series “Charmed – Magical Witches” also recalled McMahon. “I am insertable,” wrote, for example, who played his love interest in the series. “Julian was more than my TV husband. He was a dear friend. One who reports. One who remembers. One who shares. One who tells you the truth, even if she is uncomfortable – but always with love,” she told her friendship. His death “feels unreal. Too early. Too unfair,” she added, and with her message also shared some photos.
Holly Marie Combs (51) also shared memories of her time together on the “Charmed” set. “A understatement is unique. Your unshakable joie de vivre and your crazy sense of humor will be painfully missed,” she commented. Nevertheless, this will be remembered. “I hope you find our girlfriend and dance in these rose petals,” she referred to her colleague Shannen Doherty (1971-2024), who died last year.
Rose McGowan (51) said goodbye to McMahon. “Oh Julian, you power of ingenuity, the wild talent and the humor. For you, your family and your loving fans around the world, I pray for comfort,” she mourned and also shared a post by co-star Brian Krause (56) in her story. : “A sad day for our charmed family! Julian was one of the funniest, devilish handsome and friendliest people!” McMahon “will certainly be missing,” he added.
Julian McMahon had succumbed to a cancer on July 2. His third wife Kelly had told that two days later. The actor fell asleep “peaceful”, she said. McMahon was 56 years old.
