Ozzy Osbourne’s stage: these stars were part of the big show

Ozzy Osbourne (76) celebrated his stage party with numerous music greats on July 5. While Black Sabbath was the focus of the concert, famous colleagues such as Steven Tyler (77) and Ronnie Wood (78) also performed. The Aerosmith front man and the Rolling-Stones guitarist came together with Travis Barker (49). As a supergroup, they mainly performed songs from Osbourne and his band.

Jason Momoa (45) was a moderator at the big event – and had a lot of fun. he did not miss the opportunity to mix under the fans and to participate in the moshpit. On stage he also revealed what influence Osbourne had had on his career. “Every figure I have ever played was inspired by this music – it is part of everything I am,” the newspaper quoted him. Active colleague Jack Black (55) was also part of the concert. According to “Daily Mail”, he performed a cover from Osbournes “Mr. Crowley” via Livestream.

Other musicians were addressed to Osbourne in recorded video messages. Elton John (78) called him a “king” and a “legend”. In relation to Osbournes repeated health problems, he said: “You’ve gone through so much crap in recent years. I hope that this is the best day of your life so far.” Videos from Dolly Parton (79) and Ricky Gervais (64) are said to have been seen on the screens.

At the concert in Birmingham, performances of bands such as Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax and Lamb of God were announced in advance. But not only musically they paid tribute to the star of the evening. Metallica singer James Hetfield (61), for example: “Without Sabbath, there was no metallica.”

In addition to the music stars, Osbourne was also supported by his family. His wife Sharon (72) and daughter Kelly (40) followed the stage spectacle from the audience. A total of 42,000 fans appeared for the show in Birmingham. In the Villa Park Stadium, Black Sabbath came together for a concert for the first time since 2005 for the first time since 2005.
