Kelly Osbourne: engagement at the Black Sabbath party

Slipknot rocker Sid Wilson (48) made a marriage proposal to his partner Kelly Osbourne (40). For this he chose a very special occasion: her father Ozzy Osbourne’s last black Sabbath show on July 5 in Birmingham, with which he said goodbye to the big stage.

Kelly Osbourne shared the surprising news a day later with the world. To the simple words “Oh, and that happened yesterday!” she published a video of the question of all questions on Instagram. In it you can see Wilson in the backstair of Villa Park, like him, surrounded by numerous people, says: “Kelly, you know that I love you more than anything else in the world.” Then the nextor -to -be threw Ozzy Osbourne: “You won’t marry my daughter.”

Sid Wilson was not irritated by it, laughed at the comment of his future father -in -law and said to his loved one: “Nothing would make me happier than spending the rest of my life with you. So, in front of your family and all our friends, Kelly, do you want to marry me?” To do this, he pulled a ring out of his pocket.

This obviously did not expect this: Kelly Osbourne looked around, then nodded in agreement and hugged Wilson for a long time, while friends and family – including her mother Sharon Osbourne (72) and her brother Jack Osbourne (39) – cheered on them.

The couple got to know each other in 1999 and made friends when Wilson’s band was on tour with Ozzfest, the music festival founded by their parents. They started officially going out in January 2022. Kelly Osbourne later emphasized in an Instagram post: “After 23 years of friendship I can’t believe where we landed!” She described him as her “soul mate”.

In May 2022, the two already announced the next major relationship step: Kelly Osbourne announced their pregnancy. “I know that I was very quiet in the past few months, so I wanted to tell you all why … I am really happy to be able to tell you that I will be mom,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. She was “overjoyed”. Her son was born at the end of 2022. In a episode of the “The Osbournes” podcast from September 2023, she raved about her child: “He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I just love to be a mother. It means everything to me.”
