Bushido and Mallorca star isi lucky sit in the DSDS jury
Rap meets Pop and Ballermann: RTL makes his new casting jury public for “Germany is looking for the superstar”. Dieter Bohlen hopes that one will “understand” well in the new constellation.
It had been indicated for a long time – now it is official: rapper Bushido (“from the skyline back to the curb”) gets a place next to Dieter Bohlen in the jury of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” (DSDS). Ballermann star isi Glück (“Mallekind”) is also part of the new team. RTL announced the occupation of his newly formed jury for the 22nd season of the casting show on Tuesday morning.
Rapper Bushido was honored about the calling. DSDS shaped generations, he said. “Being part of this jury is more than just a show for me,” RTL quoted him. “Now it is time to show new talents. Not only for the applause – but for something that remains.”
Bohlen expects disagreements
Meanwhile, long-term juror Bohlen already focused on possible differences in opinion with the rap star. “For example, I can’t imagine Bushido Schlager like,” said Bohlen. He, in turn, “now not” hard rap all day. Then there is also Ballermann star isi lucky. The conclusion of the so-called pop-titan Bohlen: “I hope that we get along well!”
The fact that something could change with the RTL classic had been indicated for months. In the past season, in addition to Bohlen, rapper Loredana, pop singer Beatrice Egli and pop singer Pietro Lombardi had been sitting on the jury. Shortly before the final, Lombardi announced that he would leave. Rapper Bushido, in turn, performed as a surprise guest on the show. “Bild” reported at the time that he could become a jury member. A few days ago, “Bild” had now reported that Bushido and Isi Happiness had been signed. RTL had not commented on that at first.
DSDS remains Bohlen-Terrain with exceptions
In all the years since the start of the show in 2002, DSDS has always changed in the jury. Dieter Bohlen was almost always there. The long-time jury boss was only replaced by pop singer Florian Silbereisen in the 19th season. In season 20, however, he returned.
