At the 1500th “Cabaret” performance in London, Janet Jackson caused a sensation – because of her outfit and a man.
Janet Jackson (59) rarely shows himself on the red carpet. However, the singer made an exception for the 1500th gala performance of “Cabaret” in the Kit Kat Club in London, England.
Hand in hand with a colleague
In a good mood and in a completely white outfit, she stepped in front of the photographers. Michael Jackson’s sister (1958-2009) combined a white pants with a wide leg, a long white blazer and a white blouse with collar. As an accessories, she wore large creoles, her braided hair had put her up to a large hair knot. Not only with her styling she caused an eye -catcher, but also with her companion. Because she appeared hand in hand with singer Maxwell (52), she immediately triggered speculation, including a possible cooperation for a duet.
In May she was awarded an icon
She had already had a big appearance at the American Music Awards at the end of May. There she was on stage live on a TV show for the first time after ten years. In addition, the Icon Award was presented to her. “I am honored and grateful,” said Janet Jackson. “Without wanting to be disrespectful, but I don’t consider myself an icon.” She further explained that it was not the goal of the Jackson family to become famous. “We have not been brought up. We have always had a special love for music, dancing and singing, and fame was the result of hard work and dedication.”
