The work was nominated for 13 Hugo Awards and was a winner in 5 categories, including better child and/or youth musical, best book and better song lyrics for its author, Delfina PerriBetter female protagonist to Luján Blaksley (ELI) and best costume design. With a general direction of Lali Vidal and Fede Fedelethe work was born from the observation that many dyslexic boys hid their reality by shame. The objective is to make the dyslexia visible and change the look over it, focusing not only on the challenges but also on the great skill pack that accompanies it, such as creativity, empathy, and lateral thinking.
This production has the support of DISFAM Argentina, the non -profit civil association of dyslexia and family. Disfam Argentina has a 10 -year trajectory working for the dissemination and knowledge of dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties (DEA). The association was linked to the work by knowing its positive impact, seeking to generate an alliance to spread and educate about dyslexia through theater.
The musical highlights the importance of understanding how a dyslexic person thinks and learns to be able to provide the necessary support and accompany it to develop its maximum potential. Dyslexia is described as a different and valuable way to think and process information, not as a disease or disadvantage. On vacation, Sunday will be presented.
