Princess Kate has lived in her first state banquet in a noble and deep red dress for around two years.

For the first time since her cancer diagnosis, Princess Kate (43) will take part in a state banquet again this Tuesday. She used the three-day visit to the French President Emmanuel (47) and Brigitte Macron (72) for a literally showing wow appearance. For the solemn evening at Windsor Castle, she chose a deep red dress, designed by Sarah Burton (51) by Givenchy.

Kate has a special fashionable connection with the designer: When she was still creative director of Alexander McQueen, Burton had designed the wedding dress by the princess in 2011 alongside Prince William (43) in front of the altar. For the dark red silk dress, she wore an evening bag embroidered with lily of the valley, magnificent earrings and her beloved “Lover’s Knot”-Tiara, which was previously worn by Queen Mary, Queen Mum, Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana.

the royal couple shared a common picture. “Ready for what a wonderful state banquet promises in Windsor this evening,” is the caption. In the noble black frack together with a striking white fly and various orders on the chest, Prince William has also duly thrown himself in shell.

State visit until July 10th

The British palace had already announced in May of this year that King Charles III. (76) The macrons invited to a state visit to take place from July 8 to July 10th. It is the first French state visit in around 17 years. In March 2008, President Nicolas Sarkozy (70) accepted an invitation from the now deceased Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022).
