Allegations of fraud in Austria: Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht on the way by prisoner transport

After allegations of fraud by the Austrian judiciary, actor and musician Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht is traveling through Germany by prisoner transport. He could confirm that the artist stayed in the JVA Hannover on Wednesday night, a spokesman for the institution said. In the morning the transport was continued by bus. According to the Hessian Ministry of Justice, there was a stop in Kassel at noon.

“Mr. Ochsenknecht had a short stay with lunch in the JVA Kassel I and is now back south again,” said the spokesman for the Ministry of Justice in Wiesbaden of the dpa.

The transport started on Tuesday in Hamburg, where Ochsenknecht was arrested two weeks ago on the basis of a European arrest warrant obtained by the Austrian authorities.

According to the Lower Saxony Ministry of Justice, prisoners are regulated in a regulation. Prisoners should therefore basically travel in collective transports, i.e. heavy prisoner transport cars. Ochsenknecht was temporarily arrested at the end of June after landing at Hamburg Airport and was taken into custody. There was an international arrest warrant against him. “I should have known how serious the situation is and I would never have let it go. That was wrong,” he wrote on Instagram last week.
