Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht must be delivered to Austria within ten days. According to Hesse, prisoner transport is already on the go.

The actor Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht (33) was arrested at the end of June at Hamburg Airport is on its way towards Austria by prisoner transport. He spent the night of Wednesday in the JVA Hannover. It serves as a “turnstile for nationwide transports”, confirms a spokesman for the institution to the Spot on News news agency. In the meantime he is “in the direction of Hesse”. When an arrival in Austria can be expected, it cannot be communicated.

One thing is clear: on the way to Austria, by van, Bavaria and possibly a part of Baden-Württemberg would have to be crossed. The exact number of prisoners with whom Ochsenknecht is currently being transported cannot be communicated “because it varies in the course of the transport.” According to the spokesman, up to 27 prisoners find space in the breasts in which there are “individual cabins in which prisoners can be both separated and accommodated”.

What is accused of?

The 33-year-old, against whom an international arrest warrant was available, has been in custody for around two weeks. At the beginning of this week, delivery to Austria was approved by the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court. Ten days were given as a period of delivery.

Ochsenknecht was accused of not having paid a hotel bill in Austria from 2021 in the amount of around 14,000 euros despite several warning. His lawyer recently stated that the open invoices have now been paid.
