“Bridgerton” star posts report on “Prada 2” role

Will Simone Ashley besides Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway in the new “The devil wears Prada” film? An Instagram post by the “Bridgerton” actress suggests this assumption.
“Bridgerton” actress Simone Ashley has fueled the rumors about their participation in the new “The devil wears Prada” film with a meaningful Instagram post. With her four million followers, the 30-year-old British shared an article in the “Deadline” industry magazine in her Instagram story, which reports on Ashley’s role in the continuation film.
In addition, Ashley posted a happy emoji with hearts and the emoji of a red high heel. According to “Deadline”, the British joins Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, who played in the success film from 2006 and should also be there in the new film.
Work on continued
Last week the film studio 20th Century Studios announced that the work on “The Teufel is wearing Prada 2” had started. According to reports from the industry magazine “Variety”, “Deadline” and “People”, Oscar-winner Kenneth Branagh (“Murder in the Orient Express”) and Lucy Liu and Justin Theroux also play along in the continuation film.
In “The Teufel wears Prada” Hathaway played a young woman who, as an assistant to the fashion frame Miranda Priestly, was trying to beat through the long -time “Vogue” editor Anna Wintour. The continuation film is scheduled to come to cinemas in 2026. Details about the action have not yet been announced.
Ashley is known from the Netflix series “Sex Education”. In the second season of the Netflix series “Bridgerton” she played the leading role alongside Jonathan Bailey.
