“Mom’s boyfriend”: the return of the Argentine comedy for the whole family

“Mom’s boyfriend” arrived at the rooms to offer a plan that is not found: cinema for the whole family. Directed by Nicolás Silbert and Leandro Mark, starring José María Listorti, Jorgelina Arruzi and Daniela “La Chepi” Viaggiamari, who debuts on the big screen.

As the title indicates, this comedy focuses on Lucia, a widowed mother of two children who meets Leonardo, an optimistic man who falls in love. Lucia gets the opportunity to be a chef in an important hotels that will open your headquarters in Buenos Aires. For that, he must travel to the hotel located in Patagonia with his children, Coco and Pipa, and Leonardo, who must strengthen their relationship. Or, rather, build it from scratch.

Nobody said dealing with foreign children is an easy task, especially if one of them is a preteen. However, there is nothing that a trip to the south cannot solve, or so they say. Leonardo intends to use his travel agent skills and excessive optimism to entertain them and gain their trust. And also to show Lucia that she deserves to be with her.

Although they put several obstacles, Leonardo does not give up. He insists with excursions, air trips and a smile at all times of the day. He even teaches them to face their fears with a song from the band “Moreno Sugar.” On the other hand, Lucia tries to be present for her children, who claim her absence, while dealing with the demands of her potential new boss embodied by Jorgelina Arruz. In the end, not everything is fun in Patagonia.
