The project seeks to carry the mystique Ricotera and its music throughout Argentina, neighboring countries, and if there was the possibility, reaching places where the rounds never played live.

Rey Garufa is a tribute band to Patricio Rey and his Redonditos de Ricota, unique style without similarities in Argentine rock. The project arose in the city of Tandil in 2008. It was born in a rehearsal room in order to reproduce themes of the rounds, but when the live presentations arrived it was inevitable to be part of the immense Ricotero collective.
His popularity grew after his appearance in the documentary Stone that beatsin which the project was disseminated and the band shared the stage with Gaspar Benegas and Pablo Sbaraglia. Today he has been touring the stages throughout the country for 15 years and is considered one of the best tax bands.
