Riccardo Simonetti loves fashion without drawers: “I like people who do their own thing,” he explains in an interview.

“My hair just belongs to me,” emphasizes Riccardo Simonetti (32). They are more than just a styling for the entertainer – they are an expression of his personality. “It is my duty to wear my hair that way. I owe it to humanity,” he laughs at the edge of an event of Kérastase in Munich, in which he appeared as a co-host on the occasion of his new series “Pillow Talks”. Simonetti has been a brand ambassador for hair care stark for around a year and speaks in an interview about his styling routine, its extravagant fashion style and his upcoming first wedding anniversary.

Her long hair has long since become her trademark. How do you care for your mane?

Riccardo Simonetti: I am a fan of styling my hair professionally and then maintaining the rest of the week with dry shampoo.

Which hair routine is sacred to you – is there a ritual that is never left out?

Simonetti: I have so many products in my hair when I stand in front of the camera – everything has to be brushed out before I go to bed. This is almost more important to me than removing removal.

Have you ever thought of separating from your long mane?

Simonetti: My hair just belongs to me. Sure sometimes I think: “How nice would it be not to need two hours in the mask every time.” But then I see the result and think it is my duty to wear my hair that way. I owe that to humanity (laughs).

And how about a new color, e.g. pink or green like Bill Kaulitz?

Simonetti: Fortunately, there are wigs for that. And it makes mega fun to experiment with it. In the end I love to be able to transform myself into everything, so I would never color them colorfully, simply because that would be limited to me.

Your look lives not only from the hairstyle, but also from your very own fashion style: were there people or style icons who have particularly shaped or encouraged them in this way?

Simonetti: I love people who do their own thing – that’s why Lady Gaga and Elton John were always at the forefront. I would call Lindsay Lohan and Lana del Rey as hair role models, but also 80s rock stars such as Axl Rose and Kurt Cobain.

Which prominent man do you currently admire especially for his style?

Simonetti: Colman Domingo has a wardrobe where I would love to browse!

Speaking of style: How much do you include your husband in your styling questions?

Simonetti: My husband has his own taste and his input is extremely important to me. We discuss everything together and have also planned our wedding outfits together.

What does he particularly appreciate about her style – and maybe there is something that he doesn’t like at all?

Simonetti: My husband is from New York and studied art there, among other things. He is used to a lot and I think he likes it that I have my own taste and wear things the way I find it beautiful. He thinks that too. It’s not about the finished look, but rather to be happy that I wear something that makes me feel good.

And vice versa: what do you like fashion or styling in terms of it?

Simonetti: Sometimes he looks a bit like Tom Selleck in “Magnum” and since that was my first crush, I just got a doppelganger of him.

In a few weeks you will celebrate your first wedding day. What are you planning for this special day?

Simonetti: I would like to go to the place where we said the yes and review the day. I would also like to wear something white – or preferably marry again (laughs).
