Ronnie Woodlegendary guitarist of The Rolling Stones, FACES And more, he will celebrate his 60 years of record career with the launch of the new collection in double vinyl and double CD, Fearless: Anthology 1965-2025.

The anthology, carefully selected, includes key songs of the seven Wood Solo Study albums to date, as well as co-writings and other milestones of his career with The Rolling Stones, The Faces, Rod Stewart, Ronnie Lane and Jeff Beck Group. The CD edition dates back to the mid -sixties with its first band, The Birdsand briefly, The Creation.

How is “Fearless: Anthology 1965-2025”, the new Ron Wood

In this collection four new recordings are unveiled (first solo material since 2010): a version of “A Celerin Girl” (Written by the AS of New Orleans Allen Toussaint under the pseudonym of Naomi Neville) that has the guest voice of Chrissie Hynde; “You’re so fine”a version of the American HIT of R&B of 1959 of The Falcons With additional voices of Imelda May; “Take it easy”contagious remake of the success of Rocksteady of the Jamaican star Hopeton Lewis and the strawberry of dessert: “Mother of Pearl”a new Wood composition. The four songs have been co -produced by Jesse, Ronnie’s son, and Sean Genockey.

The album includes a new and extensive essay by the musical writer and author Paul Sextonwho has interviewed Wood all stones for more than 30 years. The CD collection opens at the exact moment in which Ronnie Wood’s sound history begins in “You’re on my mind” as composer and guitarist of The Birds. Vinyl edition begins with its inspired co -authorship as part of the Jeff Beck Groupwith Rod Stewart and Nicky Hopkinsfor the historic Beck-Ola album of 1969.

This exceptional anthology also includes classics from all times of Faces as “Ooh la la” and “Stay with me”recently reviewed by Ronnie as a special guest of Rod Stewart in Glastonbury. There is also a wide representation of Ronnie’s work in his own name, starting with the fantastic “I’ve Got My Own Album To Do” of 1974.

Wood’s arrival to The Rolling Stones 50 years ago, and the spiritual home he had always dreamed of, it soon manifested himself in “Hey Negrita”one of the most outstanding themes of his 1976 album “Black and Blue” which is included in the CD edition of Fearless, while both formats, CD and LP, also include other of their co -authorship with the stones: “Dance (Part 1)”, “Everything is turning to Gold”, “Black Limousine”, “Do not use in crying” and “Pretty Beat Up”. Ronnie’s frequent solo adventures are also well reflected in the new album, even their most recent long -term study work “I Feel Like Playing” 2010.

From his first steps in the studio to his four new songs, Fearless pays tribute to a virtuous guitarist, composer gifted, interpreter, sometimes frontman and international treasure. It is an adequate 60 -year compendium of unique creativity.
