Deftones announced the launch of his new “Private Music” album and shared the single “My Mind is a Mountain.”
After five years arrives a new album of the Sacramento Band, “Private Music” will arrive on August 22 through Reprise/Warner Records.
The official announcement comes with the main simple “My Mind is a Mountain”. The album is co -produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Alice in Chains, Foo Fighter), who also worked at “Diamond Eyes” of 2010 and “Koi no Yokan” of 2012, and was recorded in Malibu and Joshua Tree in California, as well as in Nashville, Tennessee.
The same day that the album is released, Deftones will begin a stage of its American tour in Vancouver, and its next main tour will see them accompanied by Phantogram, Idles and Barbarians of California on selected dates.
During the last two years, Chino Moreno and company have been constantly hinting that a new album was on its way, marking the continuation of “Ohms” of 2020.
