Most households are full of elements that, without realizing it, end up in the garbage without need. What many do not know is that a large part of these objects can be reused in practical, creative and ecological forms.
Transforming these elements into new resources not only relieves environmental impact, but also allows us to save and foster more sustainable habits at home. Therefore, from the field we put together a list of very common objects that, with a little ingenuity, can have a Second Useful Life.

Objects that are completely reusable and are usually thrown
These are the things we all have at home and we can reuse them:
Old Tooth Brushes
Although they no longer fulfill their original function, they are ideal for cleaning difficult corners, such as ceramic joints or windows. You just have to disinfect them and give them a new use as cleaning tools.
Ancient newspapers and magazines
Perfect for wrapping gifts with a medium retro style, make crafts with boys or even protect surfaces when painting. You can also use them to clean glass.
Wooden boxes
With a little creativity they become rustic shelves, organizers or auxiliary tables.
Used tea bags
In addition to compostable, they can help fight strong odors in the refrigerator or the tacho. They also serve as a natural fertilizer if you put them in the pots.
Disused CDs
Those discs that you no longer reproduce can be transformed into coasters, decorations or even pendants. With a little fabric they are very good.
Glass bottles
Ideal to be reused as vases, homemade lamps or containers for homemade oils and vinegars.
Old pillows
Before throwing them, think if you can reconvert them on pillows for the armchair or the floor.
Soda cans
These can become small pots, birds for birds or portalápices. You just need to cut them carefully and avoid sharp edges.
Glass jars
They are very useful for storing dry foods such as rice, legumes or sugar. They also serve to store screws, buttons, pencils or even as a candle.
Cardboard rolls of the toilet paper
They have a thousand uses, from organizing cables and headphones to classify underwear. They are also a great option for school activities or art.
