At Netflix, a new season of the German branch of “Too Hot to Handle” is to run. The streaming service speaks of the “ultimate relationship experiment”.
“Too Hot to Handle: Germany” on Netflix goes into a new round – with a new concept. As the streaming service announced on Friday, no singles will be sent in search of real connections and great love. Instead, existing couples have to submit to the strict rules of Lana.
“The ultimate relationship experiment”
“Too Hot to Handle: Germany S3 – Couple’s only” announces Netflix as “the ultimate relationship experiment”. Germany’s “hottest and most unable to bind” should test in the format whether their relationships are based only on physical attraction or actually on real love.
“Will the Couples grow together, develop apart or maybe even find another partner in a new constellation?”, The press release says. The couple who mastered the challenge can win 200,000 euros. When the new season will start has not yet been announced.
“Too hot to handle”: fewer physicalities, more emotions
“Too Hot to Handle: Germany” is the German branch of the international Netflix success. The reality format is based on the so-called “no-touching” rule: the participants should curb their physical impulses in order to build real emotional connections. In the event of violations of the rules imposed by artificial intelligence Lana, punishments must be paid.
The first two seasons were published in 2023 and 2024. Among other things, candidates included the later “Bachelorette” Stella Stegmann or the former “GNTM” candidate Cassy Cassau.
