Series love became real luck: Téa Leoni and Tim Daly are under the hood

Téa Leoni (59) and Tim Daly (69) have been worded after more than a decade. The two acting stars married on Saturday (July 12th) in New York – in a small, intimate ceremony in the circle of their closest family members.

Leoni and Daly got to know each other in 2014 on the set of the CBS polish series “Madam Secretary”, in which they played the fictional couple Elizabeth and Henry McCord over six seasons. The on -screen dream couple soon became a real one: in the summer of 2014 – shortly after Téa Leoni’s official separation from her husband David Duchovny (64) – the private love story of the two, which initially held out of the public, began.

It was only in December of the same year that her relationship became public – very to the surprise of her serial colleague Geoffrey Arend (47), who at the time showed himself to “People” amazed the romance: “Nobody really knew,” he revealed. The love news on the set caused astonishment, but also great approval: “Tim is simply the best – they go well together,” enthused Arend.

Leoni and Daly had the first joint red-Carpet appearance in April 2015 at the White House Correspondents’ dinner in Washington, DC, alongside journalist legend Bob Schlechfer and ex-US foreign minister Madeleine Albright. At that time, Daly joked in front of the camera: “We’ll be a hot table.”

It is the third marriage for Téa Leoni. Previously, she was married to the advertising director Neil Joseph Tardio Jr. (1991-1995) and actor David Duchovny (1997-2014). “Private Practice” star Tim Daly also looks back on an earlier marriage to fellow actor Amy van Nostrand, with which he has two adult children: Sam Daly (41) and Emelyn Daly (36).
