Emma Watson will be prohibited driving for six months for speeding

Harry Potter’s actress was also condemned to pay a fine of 1,200 euros after adding several infractions.

Emma Watsonfamous for playing Hermione Granger in the saga of “Harry Potter”was disabled by a United Kingdom Court to drive for six months after not respecting the permitted speed limit.

The British actress was surprised on July 31, 2024 while It led to 61 km/h in an area with a limit of 48 km/h in Oxford, about 90 km west London.

The decision was taken on Wednesday, July 16 of this year by the High Wycombe Magistrates ‘Court Court’ Courtaccording to local media. Watson was not present at the audiencebut accepted responsibility through his legal representative.

Besides, Judge Arvind Sharma imposed a fine total of £ 1,044, broken down into £ 660 for the infraction (reduced by its guilt declaration), £ 264 as surcharge and £ 120 for judicial costs.

The sanction was automatic, since the actress accumulated nine points previous for three infractions committed between October 2023 and January 2024. The new foul added another three, reaching the legal limit of 12 points to conserve her active license.
