Wolfgang Grupp: His daughter Bonita speaks of an “accident”

For days, there was ambiguity about Wolfgang Grupp’s state of health. Now Bonita Grupp, the daughter of the Trigema patriarch, has expressed itself for the first time-and confirms that there was an accident. Wolfgang Grupp is one of the most dazzling German entrepreneurs. He was born in 1942 in the bustle of Burladingen on the Swabian Alb. In 1969 he took over the textile company Trigema founded by his grandfather. It produces laundry, leisure and sports clothing and thus advertises 100 percent “made in Germany”. She became known large parts of the population with TV commercials in which a monkey appeared. At the beginning of 2024 Grupp withdrew from the corporate management and handed over the management to his son Wolfgang Grupp Junior and his daughter Bonita.
