Ochsenknecht delivered to Austrian authorities
Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht’s tour through German prisons has ended. On Wednesday he left Munich – with a target Austria.
The actor Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht has been delivered to the Austrian authorities. The Attorney General in Hamburg, where the 33-year-old had been arrested at the end of June, confirmed that “this morning the persecuted was handed over to the Austrian authorities in Kiefersfelden”.
According to information from the German Press Agency, Ochsenknecht left the Stadelheim correctional facility on Wednesday morning. The “Bild” newspaper published photos of the Kiefersfelden border crossing, which show Ochsenknecht how to get out of a bus.
Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht is said not to have paid hotel bills
The 33-year-old had been brought towards Austria by the German authorities because he is said to have not paid for a hotel bill of almost 14,000 euros.
The Innsbruck public prosecutor, where the investigation against him is carried out, did not initially comment on request. He will only provide information “if the transfer to Austria has taken place and the further pre -trial detention was decided,” said a spokesman. “I will neither confirm nor comment on the previous intermediate steps.”
