The Halo Trust is a British charity organization founded in 1988 for mining evacuation, which Princess Diana has already supported. In January 1997, just a few months before her tragic death, she steered world attention to the need for an international ban on the country by an active mine field near Huambo.
Harry continued this emotional sign in 2019 during a royal Africa tour with his wife, Duchess Meghan (43), and the then small Archie (6). He went through the same mine field at Huambo – a moving moment that underlines the continuity of his commitment.
New hope through political cooperation
