Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht was in custody for over three weeks. He was driven to Austria for ten days. Now he’s free again.
Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht was arrested on June 25, 2025 at Hamburg Airport. An international arrest warrant made this possible. The accusation? Fraud. Apparently the actor had never paid an invoice from his birthday party from 2021 of over 14,000 euros.
The judiciary in Hamburg blocked him in custody because the suspicion of flight or a risk of repetition was given according to the authorities. Then it was decided that Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht will be delivered to Austria, where the alleged fraud was once committed. For ten days, the German judiciary killed him in a prison to prison in a prison for a prison until he arrived at the JA Innsbruck on Wednesday.

Now it is free again, reports the dpa news agency. “According to the Innsbruck public prosecutor, he was released after payment of a deposit of 15,000 euros.”
Ochsenknecht praised “to stay in Austria until the end of the procedure and has deposited his passport in the court,” said the judicial authority.
His family is largely nearby, five hours of car from Innsbruck, on the farm of his sister Cheyenne near Graz. In the Instagram story of his mother Natascha Ochsenknecht you can see that yesterday she picked up her mother, Jimi Blues Grandmutter. It would be possible that the son, which was held for over three weeks, will now break down to his sister’s farm to recover from the hardships. However, this assumption is not confirmed.
When interrogating the responsible judge, Ochsenknecht said “to take responsibility for the matter and not to counter the accusation of the public prosecutor,” said the public prosecutor. Incidentally, he made use of his rights not to comment on the suspicion, reports the dpa.
Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht has to face the accusation of severe fraud in Austria in the further course. The sentence can be up to three years in prison if convicted.
