The former “1, 2 or 3” icon Birgit “Biggi” Lechtermann visited the summer festival in the Cologne Philharmonic with her husband.

Anyone who was a child in the 1980s and 1990s and liked to see “1, 2 or 3” (ZDF) did not get past her: Birgit “Biggi” Lechtermann (65). Because in 1985 she took over the moderation of the children’s quiz show as the successor to the also popular Michael Schanze (78). Until 1995 she led through the show.



Now she was one of the prominent guests together with her husband Ingo Kersting at the opening event of the Cologne summer festival in the Philharmonie. The new stage show “Hito No Chikara” of the “Yamato – The Drummers of Japan” formation was shown.

Raw. Lively.” It was as if one of the rhythm is reminiscent of something that we have long forgotten, she continued with her “unpaid advertising”.




How did Lechtermann and “1, 2 or 3” go on after their farewell?

“1, 2 or 3” has been running since 1977. The moderators Gregor Steinbrenner (56) from 1995 to 2005 and Daniel Fischer (48) from 2005 to 2010 followed. Elton (54) has been running through the TV show since 2010.


For Lechtermann, after the farewell to the children’s program, we continued with various TV formats: Among other things, she moderated the family show “With her head through the wall” (ZDF). For VOX, she presented the quiz show “Trivial Pursuit”. She developed and moderated the game show “The Super RTL family” (Super RTL) and led to Primetime through “Small Talk” (RTL). Since 2023 she has had the monthly radio show “Lechtermann Live” on Radio 700.

She is also a successful author: “Thank you, Dog – a dog is the best medicine!”, As a media trainer, communication coach and lecturer, is committed. Lechtermann has received multiple awards, including the golden sparrow.
