The director Simon Mcquoid He returns to direct the continuation of his explosive film adventure of 2021, with a script by Jeremy Slater, based on the video game created by Ed Boon and John Tobias. The film is produced by Todd Garner, James Wan, Toby Emmerich, E. Bennett Walsh and Mcquoid, and has the executive production of Michael Clear, Judson Scott, Slater and Lawrence Kasanoff.
The photography director Stephen F. Windon, the production designer Yhei Taneda, the editor Stuart Levy and the Cappi Ireland costume designer, with casting by Rich Delia and music composed of Benjamin Wallfisch, accompany Mcquoid behind the camera.
New Line Cinema presents a production of Atomic Monster/Broken Road and Fireside Films: Mortal Kombat II. The film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, and It will be released in cinemas and in Latin America on October 23, 2025.
