Kate Beckinsale: Actress mourns the loss of her mother

Kate Beckinsale (51) lost her mother Judy Loe. that Loe died on Tuesday. She was 78 years old. Beckinsale had previously announced that her mother had been diagnosed with cancer.

In her new post, Kate Beckinsale explained that she only shares the news of her mother’s death because she had to register a death certificate and knew that she will “soon be public”. The 51-year-old writes in the post, which contains photos and videos, about Loe: “She died in my arms in the night of July 15 after immeasurable suffering.” She added: “I deeply apologize to all of her friends who find out in this way or through the press, but I can’t go through her phone. I am paralyated. Jew was the compass of my life, the love of my life, my favorite friend,” said Beckinsale.

The “big heart of this little woman” touched so many people who loved her intensely, it is said to be her contribution. “She was brave in many ways, sometimes forgiven too much and believed in the good in people, and the world is so bleak without it that it is hard to endure.”

Beckinsale ended her post with a personal message to her mother: “Mom, I love you so much. That was my greatest fear since I found my father dead at five years old, and I’m here. Oh my mom … I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.”

Judy Loe was also an actress. After studying at the University of Birmingham, she started her career in 1970 as a member of the British production of the rock musical “Hair”. Later she was seen in various British television series. She had her last appearance on the screen in 2024 in a series of the thriller series “Fool Me Once”.

Loe married Richard Beckinsale (1947-1979) in 1977, four years after the birth of the daughter Kate. The actor died of a heart attack in 1979 at the age of 31. In 1997 Loe then gave the British TV director Roy Battersby (1936-2024). He died in January 2024.
