Ex-partner Gitta Saxx and more: Stars mourn Felix Baumgartner

The Austrian extreme athlete Felix Baumgartner (1969-2025) died at the age of 56 in a paragliding accident on the Italian Adriatic coast. On social media, companions and well -known personalities have said goodbye to the athlete.

In an Instagram story, ex-partner Gitta Saxx (60) spoke out: “What fascinated me the most about you was your humor, your Schalk on the neck, we laughed a lot!” Then she visibly seized: “Oh Felix, now there are up there and is sure to fly around the Engerl.” She thinks of his parents, his best friend Klaus and his Red Bull family and “everyone who was close to you”. The two were lined up from 2007 to 2008. Baumgartner’s ex-girlfriend Nicole Öttl simply posted a candle against a black background.

Ex-stunt woman Miriam Höller (38) wrote in an Instagram story: “Thanks for the extraordinary experiences with you.” Her thoughts are at Baumgartner’s “wonderful girlfriend” Mihaela Schwartzenberg (55) and “with your loving family”. Cora Schumacher (48) also mourned and wrote about Baumgartner, who, among other things, obtained awareness through a stratospheric jump in 2012: “I will never forget what we shared. You will be my ‘Starman’ forever. And you will always be up there and wait in heaven.”

Partner and supporter Red Bull also commented on his website. “We don’t want to do without a single day together,” it says, among other things. “We continue to carry you in our hearts – as a colleague, as a loyal companion, but above all as a friend.” Red Bull Austria wrote: “Felix remains a clever, lovable, humorous person in memory, which his family and friends meant everything. They are sincerely. Felix, we will miss you very much.” Under the posting, US Skistar Lindsey Vonn (40) commented: “Rip Felix. We will miss you here on earth.”
