Drugs, accidents, attacks – the tragic fate of the Kennedys

The name Kennedy is closely linked to a number of blows of fate. There have been countless unusual deaths in the world -famous family. A dark chronicle.

They are one of the most popular families in the United States – and one of the most suffering: the Kennedys. In view of the variety of tragedies they experienced, some even speak of the “Kennedy curse”. The best-known fate for the family was probably the assassination attempt on John F. Kennedy, the former US president, who was shot in 1963 at an election event in Dallas in the US state of Texas before the eyes of the world public.

His younger brother Robert suffered the same fate in 1968. At the time he was the most promising candidate in the race for the nomination of the Democratic Party for the US presidential election. After his victory in California, he just gave a speech in a hotel in Los Angeles when the fatal shots of a Palestinian immigrant met him. Robert F. Kennedy died at the age of only 42.

Jacqueline “Jackie” Kennedy Onassis, widow of John F. Kennedy, died in 1994 at the age of 64. Son John F. Jr. crashed in private aircraft with his wife and sister -in -law in 1999.

Two other Kennedys also died during aircraft gaps. In addition to attacks and accidents, drug abuse, car accidents and heart attacks also called for other fatalities within the family.

The last curse of the Kennedys hit the granddaughter of Robert

Most recently, the “Kennedy curse” Maeve Kennedy McKean, 40, and her son Gideon, 8. During the Corona pandemic, the granddaughter of Robert F. Kennedy lived on the water property of her mother in Shady Side in Maryland. When a ball fell into the water while playing, Maeve and Gideon got into a canoe to get it back. But the current drove it far out into the open chesapeak bay. Despite large -scale searches with boats, helicopters and sonar devices, their bodies were only found days later – several kilometers from the starting point.

The “Curse of the Kennedys” went through the gazettes because a family member rarely died old and died in bed. Only the patriarch and his wife got old: Joseph Kennedy died in 1969 at the age of 81, wife Rose in 1995 – exactly half a year before her 105th birthday.
