Five years after the “Megxit”, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan probably have no plans to withdraw to Great Britain.
A meeting of close advisors of King Charles III. (76) and Prince Harry (40) in London had awakened hope at Royal fans, the youngest son of the British monarch closer to the royal family and possibly even pull back to the UK with his wife and two children. But it will probably not be like that.
Sussexes should be “very happy” in California
The British newspaper quotes friends of Harry and his wife Duchess Meghan (43), according to which the two have “no plans” to ever return home. The insiders from the Sussexes area also revealed: “They are very happy to live in California and raise their family.”
Last week it became known that the king’s adjutant, Tobyn Andreae, with the head of Harry’s household in Montecito, California, Meredith Maines, and her colleague Liam Maguire, who headed the Sussexes PR team in Great Britain, had met in a private London club on a drink. It was probably the first meeting of the alienated pages of the family for years and caused a sensation accordingly.
After the “peace discussion” frustrated again
The meeting triggered speculation that Harry might be able to return to the royal family after leaving Great Britain in 2020 and withdrawing from her official royal duties. Shortly after the headlines about the so -called “Peace Summit” in London, it was said that the sussexes were “frustrated” that information and photos came to the public and hurried to emphasize that these details had not been launched by them.
A final reconciliation with the Royal Family still seems to be difficult. According to “Daily Mail”, a return to Great Britain is even “unthinkable”. Harry will only travel for appointments for charitable purposes and patronage of California. The prince repeatedly expressed his concern that his wife Meghan was not safe in Great Britain.
