Does he soon say goodbye to the stage?

Cliff Richard starts his “Can’t Stop Me Now” tour in November. But one thing could stop him: his old age.

Cliff Richard celebrates his 85th birthday on October 14th. With a view to his age, the British singer, who was the first pop star of Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) in 1995, is gradually thinking about breaking down something. From November, however, he will go on tour first. It could be his last.

He finds tours “very exhausting”

As the “Mirror” reports, Richard told a New Zealand radio station: “I will probably have to give up the tour at some point. It is very exhausting, and when you wake up in the morning, you never know if your voice is still there.” In November, he is expected in Australia and New Zealand as part of his “Can’t Stop Me Now” tour before returning to his homeland for further concerts.

Maybe this will be the last appearances of his long career. When asked whether it was his farewell tour, he replied: “I could be dead next year! So I don’t think about it anymore. It’s such a thing. If I get older, I may be less efficient, so I can’t say it.”

However, he already wants to do without the wildest of his famous dance steps on his tour. Because he did not want to look like an eighty -year -old who “tries to be 18”.
