“The Hobbit” star Luke Evans would like to have a child with his partner within the next five years – through adoption or surrogacy.
Hollywood star Luke Evans (46) dreams of a big role privately after his professional successes in film hits such as “Der Hobbit” and “Fast & Furious”: How, he would like to start a family with his partner Fran Tomas. And definitely in the near future.
His five-year plan
“I really want to have children and hope that I will be added in the next five years, be it through adoption or surrogacy,” the US magazine quotes the actor from his memoir “Boy From The Valley: My Unexpected Journey”. He always thought that he would be “a young father”, but so far he had not been ready to take on the father role. “It has now become clear to me that I first have to find my own way and go my own way before I can switch back a gear and change my life to concentrate on my children.”
First, the couple decided to buy a dog together. This felt “like the first step”, “to breathe new life into our relationship”. Since January, the action star has been giving insight into the new everyday life with bitch Lala on his Instagram account, which apparently is a dwarf dackel.
“He is definitely the best thing about me”
The British actor made his relationship with the Spanish graphic designer public in 2022. In 2024 Evans said in the “Out” magazine that the two would “build a life together”. He praised his partner for him in “this strange world in which I live” – which he meant his career in Hollywood – “grounded” and “calm”. Luke Evans also raved about Fran Tomas: “He is a great person. He is definitely the best thing about me. He is friendly, quiet. He is happy. He is positive. He is a tough worker. He literally makes me a better person.”
