In his 20th anniversary of the throne, Prince Albert II with his wife and children was particularly familiar.

July 19 in Monaco was all about the 20th anniversary of the throne of Albert II (67). The prince showed up very well. During his acceptance speech, he was close to tears, and with his wife and the two children he exchanged intimate moments.

Hugs and kisses

The princely family gathered on Saturday evening in the courtyard of the palace to celebrate Monaco together with the inhabitants. While the jubilee was wearing a blue suit, Princess Charlène (47) appeared in a lilac -colored dress with top skirt by Oscar de la Renta. To do this, she combined white pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Her twins had also made themselves chic: Prince Jacques (10) was wearing a dark suit, paint shoes and tie, princess Gabriella a white lace dress.

It was particularly striking how lovingly the princely family dealt with each other. So the prince hugged his wife, pressed her kiss on the temple and also heard his children a few times. Forgot the evil speculation about a marriage crisis and the great concerns about Charlène’s health.

Macarons for the Monegassen

The Fürstenhaus looked back on the celebrations and thanked all the Monegassen. In a clip you can also see how the princely family applauded and cuts a huge cake. “Afterwards, the participants had the pleasure of enjoying delicious macarons from this sweet creation, which was specially prepared for this occasion,” it said. “A moment of the community, emotions and parts that will remain anchored in the memories of the principality.”

Albert II followed Prince Rainier III.

On July 12, 2005, Albert succeeded his late father Prince Rainier III. (1923-2005). Already on April 6, 2005 he had become Monaco’s rain, but the official enthronement only took place three months later. The round anniversary already praised the Fürstenhaus with an Instagram post, on which the then 47-year-old is visibly emotionally to be seen on his big day. Albert is the 14th prince of Monaco. Usually the 25th anniversary of the throne is celebrated. As it came from the article, Albert II decided to celebrate his 20th.
