Pop star Charli XCX got married
With the album “Brat”, Charli XCX recently cleared one price after the other. Even privately, it could not go better for the 32-year-old.
The British pop singer and songwriter Charli XCX (“Guess”) married her fiance George Daniel. This was confirmed by the 32-year-old in a Tikok contribution in which she posed in her wedding dress and with stylish sunglasses. “If George doesn’t cry when he sees me going down the aisle,” wrote the musician. “Fortunately, he did that.” Daniel (35) is the drummer of the indie band The 1975.
The two musicians had announced their engagement at the end of 2023. As the PA news agency reported, the wedding is said to have taken place on Saturday in the Hackney district of London. In various contributions from a fan account on the platforms X and Instagram, the happy bride and groom were seen, among other things, smiling and kissing at the stages of the Hackney town hall.
Charli XCX, who is called Charlotte Aitchison with a bourgeois name, had won five prizes at the Brit Awards in spring, including those as the best artist and for the album of the year (“Brat”). In February she also had three awards with the Grammys.
